I thought I was fixing to read another Fayette post! As for going fishing this week it will all be done on Lake Air Conditioner. Who ever goes out stay hydrated and stay safe!

You know I had my boat in the driveway all hooked up and ready to go this morning. My daughter and wife ganged up on me about going when they forecasted the heat index to be up to 110 by 11:00 am today. I should have not paid any attention and just gone. Im going Thursday to a different lake besides Fayette. Its going to be a long drive but I have done it before squirrel hunting for the day. Only difference is I will be pulling my boat and be by myself.

If the fish are hitting, I won't leave. It takes me a little over an hour to get there from Katy so I like to do pretty much 8 plus hrs on the water when I go. Also for the last two years I have been mostly fishing by myself and especially this year. I don't have anybody pushing me to quit and go drink some beer. Anyway I always seem to get adjusted to the heat so I should have gone.

Will have plenty of water. Plan on fishing a bunch this week. Side Note: Don't forget the sunscreen.
