I was wondering if anybody had any tips on catching bass at lake Buchanan.
I am not looking for secrete spots just some advice.
I will even try Inks, LBJ or Marble Falls.
Thanks

I've fished it a few times. My favorite spot is around the islands. Crankbaits (lipless and square bills) and flukes have always produced best for me. It can be a tough one to convince bass to bite from time to time though.
There's smallmouth in there also. If the LMB & SMB aren't cooperating it is a great lake for striper and whites. Striper will often hang around the deep timber just past the islands on the left heading towards the dam.
I'm looking forward to getting up there again in August/Sept in my new Hobie. Good luck to ya!! thumb
