Picking the right gear ratio for a particular technique can be very confusing and intimidating to some. In this video, I break down my favorite gear ratios and how I use them. Be sure to SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already! https://youtu.be/C_OotbbTXxkWhat's your favorite gear ratio?

7.1.1 is pretty versatile. I use 5.4.1 for deep cranks and 6.4.1 on shallow Like 8 plus on t rigs and c rigs.

7.1.1 is pretty versatile. I use 5.4.1 for deep cranks and 6.4.1 on shallow Like 8 plus on t rigs and c rigs. Agreed! The 7.5:1 is by far the most versatile.

I like 6 for shallow cranks, my 7’s are for just about anything really except for flipping. I use 8 or 9 for that purpose as the only thing I want coming out fast is the fish away from the junk I caught it out of.
