Ok I was in academy looking at spinning reels and this H20 MT 400 spinning reel kept staring at me. Yes it feels nice and costs 59 bucks which is not bad for a 10 bearing reel. So it decided to jump in my cart. Of course I put braid on it and first impressions are good. I set my drag fairly tight because I fish in stumps at Lake Fork. I questioned the. A cc academy staff and they said if I did not like it to bring it back. One thing it is made in China. Well I guess most things are?!? So I will report back after a tough day of catfish action on Lake Fork. I plan to put the reel on a pro angler spinning rod. I know it is too late to ask opinions? I have been buying Penn spinning reels since cabellas discontinued their salt striker series. I still like my old salt striker reels and use them every week. I guess Johnny needed to get rid of some good stuff? We always made fun of good decisions at my company also!

Thank you for sharing, and PLEASE!!! report us time to time your impressions. Never tried this brand and I'm curious.
Usually when we talk this price range, first thing in my mind is Shakespeare President. I know this reel for 10++ years, and it is good.
