i was thinking about how to add an umbrella to my setup. i have the larger seat bases (2 3/8") and this looks like it could work. i researched the millennium umbrella rig and it looks like it is meant for the smaller bases with 3/4" bases. i still think the pvc pipe would be heavy to make one for mine, not sure if you could expand on your setup. thanks!

I'm pretty sure it was you that gave me my umbrella inspiration in 2018 when I got mine. Mine looks bigger, mine are 8.5 foot across. You can get away with a smaller umbrella because your rig you can move the umbrella around your set based on the sun position to stay shaded. My rig I can't do that, so I need bigger, also mine tilts which helps when sun is not over head (early morning/late afternoon).

I tell ya though, the umbrella makes all the difference in the world, I feel like I'm on the beach under an umbrella with it, nice a cool with a breeze. Without it, man I'm toast, especially with my aluminum boat. When it is hot, where the umbrella does not provide shade, I have to water down the surface to walk on it barefoot it is so hot. So 2 umbrellas is gonna be nice, it will keep my whole boat cool.

The umbrella is also a must for my dog, without it no way I could bring her with me.

What brand are the green umbrellas? I have a Millineum base but that umbrella does not tilt. Need something that tilts and is bigger.

This is the one I bought in 2018. It says 9ft, but when I measure it is 8.5 foot.

But they are out of stock, so I got this one looking for another green one, cost me double, and I bet it clashes with my other umbrella. cry
