I can only imagine how bad it must smell.

I recently read that King Cobras are a protected species in India. The article said that they have enough venom to kill 20 men or an elephant.

I went once for work. I'm trying to imagine how much it would cost to get me to go back.

Went twice for work in the same year. Went to Mumbai (Bombay). Nasty city, over congested, and never heard more honking in my life. Traffic is off the charts. Rickshaws are not allowed in the the city...too dangerous. The locals talked more about tigers than snakes. Guess that has changed.

The wife is from India, have heard lots of stories. They have peacocks everywhere in her home state/town. Loud birds. Also monkeys all over the place.

I've been to India. Very interesting culture. Generally very nice people. Highly questionable food. Traffic that makes LA look like a country drive. Filth beyond all description. It's not high on my list to go back, but I'm sure I will.

My wife and I adopted a honey badger for just this reason. No snakes in our yard.

I also have visited there, a vivid memory, an older man sitting on a crowded street selling false teeth, all kinds, single and full plates, all used ,,,, no I didn't ask him where they came from.
