Check out the long sleeve performance shirts/hoodies my buddy Cass has with his company! The one with the hoodie does great at keeping the hot sun off of your head and neck yet still let's you feel a breeze! Tell him Rudy sent ya! Shredfin- https://shredfin.com/

I buy Magellan brand from academy. They are well priced and work great.

I buy Magellan brand from academy. They are well priced and work great. Many models of the Magellan shirts are not on par with "the good stuff" in that they are made with thicker material woven tighter that does not breathe as well as some others. I have gotten some of both with the Magellan branding. You need to hold them up to the ceiling lights to look through the material - you'll start to see the difference. Compare them to a Huk or Columbia button-up and you will see the difference that I'm pointing out. Back before Covid, I have discretely blown my breath through the shirt-tail to compare them, and there was a big difference. My Magellan shirts are OK in milder weather, but some of the other brands beat them bigtime when it comes to cooling comfort in our hottest months. The best brand I've ever used - Pelagic. They're not cheap, but the closest thing to feeling like you aren't even wearing a shirt!

HUK ICON Hoodie shirt is pretty good. I also use long sleeve shirts from Columbia, Oakley, Under Armour, and Simms Tarpon Wear. I have tried every brand and these are the ones I have kept and rely on.

For the just want a fishing shirt good in the heat, look at the Hanes Cool Dri shirts. They come in 2 packs about half the price of most of the other brands. I have those, a couple AFTCO's and an UA and they are comparable to them, just cheaper.
I am wrong but you can not prove it, you just believe it enough from the bottom of your heart.....

I have columbia, magellan and now a wal mart, the wal mart compares to the magellan but is lighter and cheaper.
I like the columbia better since they are lighter and seem to vent better but cost a lot more, catch them on sale at academy in the fall.
