Never cared for the glorification of these over paid "athletes." And yet, people keep drinking the cool-aid and paying them for their egos. Like this Mahomes fella, $400+M can do a LOT of good elsewhere that would be much more beneficial as a whole. But yeah, forget schools, police, EMS, Fire fighters...let's give it to ONE person...who throws a foot ball. Not knocking Mahomes, good for him. it just defies all logical common sense. Oh come on. It's no different than any other form of entertainment. Go look at how much actors make. screw them too. Yep. Don't support Hollywood at all. Think the last movie I actually went to a theater to see was "Cast Away." Uhhhhh ... you supported Hollywood !
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

F1 looked more like NASCAR in the first race. Hopefully the cars, teams, and drivers knock the rust off and run smoother as they get into a routine. I think Hamilton got poked by a stick in Austria and will come out his old self at the Hungaroring. He is still the best driver in the best car, just needs to get his head straight. Agreed. But Bottas was also putting down some blistering laps. I hope he can clean it up this year and put some pressure on Hamilton. It could help make the front of the pack interesting again.

I see the real race will be for third and Ferrari may get embarrassed. Their new car has aero problems and is down on power. It will get a power upgrade before Hungary, but it may not be enough. Lot of good young drivers on improving teams. Let the games begin. I’m ready.

If Lando can get his elbows out and race hard like Verstappen, he’s going to be fun to watch.

I understand what you are saying and he is an easy target because he just got paid. However, the generational money he has already invested and continues to invest along with the foundations he has set up will fund many adjunct programs. A lot of 'his money' will get funneled back to the community especially inner city. Many pro athletes specifically have these type mechanisms set up in their contracts and subsequently their financial managers counsel them very well. If all "selfish" 'over paid' athletes took the pay day and ran there would be a lot more backlash. NFL/MLB players don't just work on game days...
