I was just going to say... They are just above an essential oil homeopaths. Glorified masseuses.

I wouldn't trust a masseuse to put their hands in my mouth. No way...

It may not be law and it may even be unconstitutional, but it is clear that the Governor wants us to wear masks. Elizabeth and I are wearing masks when we go into retail stores - grocery shopping, Home Depot, etc. We don't wear masks outdoors, but we also live in a sparsely populated area. If nothing else, a mask shows respect for other people we are in close proximity to when indoors and shopping. There are a lot of things in life to get upset about. I personally don't view this as a major problem. We will eventually get past this and the mask will eventually go away. I don't know if the mask can keep you from getting Corona, but much of the information I have read states that mask can help stop an infected person from spreading the virus. Any of us could be asymptomatic and not know. Why not take the precaution?

Fine. All good points.

Let’s get back to ripping on dentists. I definitely think those pimple poppers rate higher than a typical dentist.

Always be kind and generous with waiters, bartenders, dentists, and barbers.

I think chiropractor is pronounced 'quack-o-practcor'.

DaveDave, aren't you the one who advocates for a let it rip strategy? Or is that DaveO? In any case, I came across an interesting point today. (Same doctor in the link I shared). He basically argued we only have three basic strategies going forward:

1. Lock down, and burn it out.
2. Reopen, socially distance. Wash Hands. Wear masks. Try to avoid overwhelming hospitals.
3. Let it rip.

Interestingly, he argues 1 isn't feasible because of the massive economic damage, and the fact people wouldn't abide and the virus couldn't really be burnt out.

For number 3 he says it would be impossible to execute. If we tried to let it rip, soon enough everyone would know someone who had died or otherwise been wrecked by the virus. As soon as that happened, people would start to self regulate and do things like social distance and wear masks out of common sense. That would basically put us back into the pattern we are in right now, option 2.

I wear one at work and when out and about on my days off. I have no argument with anyone that wears one. I just think its a slippery slope when politicians/experts start to mandate these things.

I’m not going to do it. Not until they open all business at full capacity since the freaking face mask is so special at keeping us from getting sick. Even then, I’m not going to shave my beard. With a beard, it doesn’t work anyway.

How about we start a campaign about washing your nasty hands? Stop picking your nose?

Yes, I voted let her rip.

I also think that’s why New York is doing much better. They unintentionally let her rip.

I think WAWI cleared this up when all this stuff started happening.
