Looks good. I wonder if mixing shredded cheese in with the meat would help prevent the crust from sliding down?

Looks good. I wonder if mixing shredded cheese in with the meat would help prevent the crust from sliding down? i did some googling around and found a wellington meatball that put the cheese in the middle of the meat. think i'll go that route. i do a sausage ball thing with sausage, bisquick and grated chedder cheese and its pretty good, but the cheese doesn't stand out too good. the kids love the sausage balls for boat food.

Add chopped jalapeño to your sausage balls. Much better.
