This will probably get a ton of varying opinions...but I’d like some recommendation on your favorite brand of jigs. If you could briefly describe what you like about them that may help. I appreciate it guys!

Hack attack heavy cover jig. They’re inexpensive, good colors, good hook, and available at Walmart.

All of my jigs come from Siebert Outdoors. Mike makes them to order, you pick the colors, skirts, rattles, band or wire tied. He also has some of the best prices on Rage Tails I've seen. https://siebertoutdoors.com/

As many as I lose I try to buy them as cheaply as possible. Bought a whole bunch of all purpose strike Kings when Academy did 50% off clearance.

The KVD heavy cover swim jig only available at bass pro shop is my favorite. It has rattles and a trailer keeper. I use Hack attack from Walmart and academy when I get in a bind. Lots of good ones out there! Stanley still makes a good jig too. As SWH said.. I loose a lot too. But in the cooler months I throw a jig! More soft plastic in the summer. My .02

Ok so... I do NOT think there is a one size fits all option in my opinion.
That said the best VALUE/Do it all jig is the War Eagle Flipping jjig... It's wire tired, and head shape is AWESOME for skipping, has two decent rattles and a decent hook. If I could change one thing it would be put a stouter hook in there... But for $3.29 a piece it's pretty awesome, just make sure you drag slips when you lay the wood to them or it will flex out
The hack attack is pretty good too, best hook on the market bar none, but isn't hand tied... So sometimes skirts rot or come down
OLDHAMS trailer hitch jig would be just as good if they were hand tied but they are pretty close. Probably the best timber jig around... I fished 4 days with 1 jig in Mexico without losing it. When I did hang up I got it back. I caught a 9.25 and a 8.9 on it and like 5 30+ lb limits through the week
A few others are close, I still want somebody to make the perfect jig, one of the biggest issues is they almost ALL have crappy keepers
Best trailer keeper on the market is the jewel flipn jig... If you put that trailer on a hand tied hack attack jig and added even cheap rattles, it would be the best jig out there
I have used santone... They are fine... Thier flipn jig is decent but far from my favorite, and the hooks flex out too easy for a real flipn jig for me

Depends on what you're planning to do with it. Jigs are tools just like any other bait.
If you are flipping heavy cover with 80# braid make sure the hook is adequate for it. The Hack Attack jig is a great tool for this job. So is the Oldham's Eye Max jig. Both jigs are made with The Siwash Salmon hook and an extra stout fiber weedguard specifically for the up close & personal stuff.
If you're making long bombing casts out into deep water with fluorocarbon the hook on the Hack Attack & Eye Max jig will cost you fish. The wire diameter is too big to get the hook into a fish effectively 40 yards away.
I lost a giant on Fork last Memorial Day on the Eye Max jig because I got lazy and didn't change baits. I threw it 50 yards out on 20# Flo and got bit as soon as it hit bottom in 20' of water. I set the hook as hard as I could on a 7' 3" X-heavy rod and fought the fish all the way to the boat. She never jumped until she got to the boat. She made one little backflip at the boat & the jig came flying back at my face! Wasn't the jig's fault. Had I been using a jig with less than a TUNA Hook I probably would've gotten the hook in her much better at that long range.
A good jig for deep water with Flo is the Brauer Structure Jig or the Booyah Boo Jig. I like the Boo jig because it has rattles and a decent hook for $2.99 plus I did catch my PB on it so I am a little partial. Both of these jigs have a less stiff weedguard than the two mentioned above. Consequently if you flip with one of these with heavy line the hook will most likely flex & open up on a good fish.
Santone makes a great product as do others. Just make sure you are using the right tool for the job.

Thier flipn jig is decent but far from my favorite, and the hooks flex out too easy for a real flipn jig for me Try the Viper XP jig that Lake Fork guide Marc Mitchell has. You shouldn't bend out that hook. 90 % of the fish I catch on his jig are stuck in the roof of the mouth which is what you want, not in the side of the mouth where it could tear out. He builds them with a stand up head and the weed guard is the perfect length. Some jigs are made with a weed guard that is too long. Another jig that I like is the V & M and their swim jigs is great for skipping in and around cover because of the head design it just does not get hung up much.

I like the Oldham trailer hitch, Santone, and M-Pack. I would like to try that Viper XP. Ten Bears makes a tungsten jig that is very nice as well.

I like to build my own. I get the jig head size and style I want and then either build a skirt or install pre-made skirts. I usually source with Lure Parts Online. As such I can easily get the size and style I want for under $2 each and with some combinations I approach $1 ea or less.
