I’ve been doing a lot of research on boats. I think I’ve settled on a NS 231 Hybrid with a 250 HP motor. It appears to meet the needs for my family, fishing and recreation. Do any of y’all have any experience with them good or bad? Haven’t bought it yet but wanted to ask someone who has experience with them.

I have been seeing a few here and there, they look like a decent all around boat if that's what you want. I even saw one 40+ mile offshore out of Matagorda in legitimate four footers at 5 seconds, I wouldn't have been out there in it. The 42' Freeman we were in was rocking pretty good that day. Anyway, NS builds a good boat, I have been pleased with mine I bought in 2015. I have never rode in one of the hybrids, but they look more family oriented than fishing to me. Dealer service means a lot, and I wont mention names, but there is one really close to you that has a joke of a service department.
