Looking for deep sea trip in August or September. Location doesn’t really matter but prefer not to go any further south of Corpus. Group of 4 guys maybe up to 6. Wanting a private sports fishing trip. Preferably a trolling trip but open to down fishing depending on the species. 8 hour minimum. Depending on price maybe even an overnight. Would like to get out to that deep blue water.

I have used Dolphindocks out of Port Aransas many times and I have caught a bunch of fish with them. They are mostly a party boat company, but they do private charters with their Dolphin boat. I think they can customize a trip to your specifications.
You can also contact Woody’s Sports Center in Port Aransas. They have private charters on Bertram and similar boats. Unfortunately, I cannot give a recommendation for a specific captain.

If you can .... wait until after mid-August. This is assuming that the virus will allow school to start back up. The crowds will be lighter.
My first choice would be Deep Sea Headquarters but Dolphin Docks is good. And the new Fisherman's Wharf is expected to be much improved.

Would like to get out to that deep blue water. Here I am, thank you Bobby! As Bobby said my name is james wheeler and i run Badfish a 40' Ocean Yacht. You can find us on facebook and our website is www.badfishsportfishing.net we have pretty much it full price list on there, and after Labor Day which is the seventh this year the prices drop to our winter time rates, but it's all explained on the website. If you like any help at all with planning out the trip that you want to do, feel free to p.m. me and I'll get back with you to help custom design your trip. By the way we don't do anything other than 12 hours and 18 hour trips that time of year oh, so don't worry about your 8 hour minimum, but our prices are high oh, there's a lot of options out there some of them more affordable oh, but I'll be glad to talk to you about it and help you get set up with the right option for you

(Weather permitting) I have 1 seat available on 46ft Private Yacht Tuna & Snapper trip for $335 for Sunday, October 18th 2020 in Port Mansfield, TX with Capt Chad Kinney. If you don't know him, He’s been on multiple Fishing Shows such as Big Water Adventures on WFN & Outdoor Channel. This trip will leave at 6 am and head offshore to troll for Tuna, Wahoo, and dorado, then stop for a few deep drops for Grouper and toward the end of the trip on the way back stop in Texas water for Red Snapper until we hit our Guaranteed Boat limit 24 (Limit 4 per person x 6). It will only be 6 of us plus Capt and deck hand on the 46’ Bertram convertible. Pro level Quality Reels, Tackle, lures, and bait will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own gear. If it’s your first time doing a private trip, please understand your not buying a ticket on a party boat that can be cancelled and the trip still goes on. This trip cost $2000 regardless if 1 person or 6 people go and by dividing the cost by 6 of us makes it affordable at $335 and the experience is 10 times better than a $100 party boat trip. Recommended Hotel accommodations; Holiday Inn express Raymondville, TX https://goo.gl/maps/rPaTvTZDCLAk5LH38reply ASAP via forum or direct ervin@dynamoamps.com or Text 214-455-1002
