What tungsten one do you use? I like tungsten jigs, just haven’t found a good shaky head in tungsten yet.

I use these the fish hook themselves very sharp and changed the game for me

http://www.omfishingsinkers.com/Tun...more-Delivery-time-9-11days_p-80536.html

They only have 3/16 and 1/4. Those are the two I use most often by far.

I have found them in 3/8, 1/2 and 1/8 some place else but Ill have to find that if your interested Ill find it in my bookmarks and post it for you.

Same setup here. They work well.

I use these also unless I am fishing a magnum size worm.

My son caught this fish on a shaky head this morning, 7 1/4 pounds. Who says a shaky head won’t catch big fish!

I tried those and they get hung up too much. Switched to the Owners.

I have a few trokar molds, I personally don't like the hooks, they are not a true round band hook and they are not light wire either. In my experience, shakeyhead should be light wire. Better action and better hookup with lighter tackle. Even when you step up the weight and go to a baitcast.[Linked Image]

Learn something everyday. I didn’t know Trokar didn’t make a suitable hook. The Owners Ultra Point hooks I use tend to bend a little easily. I also like the Trokar hook as it doesn’t require as much effort to set them

Owner shaky heads

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.
