Morning, will be taking the wife out for a nice camping weekend to Eisenhower SP and was hoping to get some insight on how things are biting from the bank?

Looking for anything, catfish, bass, crappie, a good ole carp fight. Just looking to hopefully catch something with her, anything more and build a stringer would be awesome!

Thank you in advance!

I am doing the same thing. Can't wait to see what kind of answer you get.

You can throw small spinner baits this time of year along the rocks/boulders... h&h spinnerbaits are my go to for smallies, whites and striper at Eisenhower state park. Note: I have not been there in 7-8years! Good luck thumb

Fished Eisenhower SP earlier this week. The lake seemed to remain clear despite rain, on Monday. The lightning put a damper on things and kept me from fishing. And I suspect that the cloud cover did not help either. That said, I was able to get a few bites on top on Tuesday morning at the mouth of the cove in front of Eisenhower Yacht Club. I was fishing from the bank on the main lake side of the pier. These fish ate a spook. The spot was a nice surprise, at 15". The striper was about 17". I hooked 2 or 3 others, but was only able to land these in about 2 hours of fishing. I have not kept fish in a couple of years. So, it was nice actually take a couple home for dinner. They went well with onion rings and french fries.
