Fish do not have eyelids and therefore, relate to shade created by structure .

Why only shade created by structure? Is there implicit bias for this? Is there something wrong with shade created by cover?

A better statement might be: "Fish do not have eyelids and therefore, will sometimes prefer to position themselves in shade." I say sometimes because there are many times I see bass choose to be visible in sunlight areas. It's more likely they prefer the shade because it sets up an ambush-on-prey from the shadows. When I've had a chance to observe bass behavior, they hide their entire body in the shade, not just their eyes.

Kscribner21 - In the Celina area. Hope you enjoyed the watch.

banker-always fishing - thank you for watching. I appreciate you taking the time! Hope you enjoyed it.

gborg - Interesting fact, did not know that. Appreciate your time.

Flippin-Out - I see your clarification. Point being bass like shade/cover for a number of reasons. Thank you for watching.

Laker One - I agree with you on that! So many factors play a role. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.

Nice. I thought that looked like the bridges out at the Celina ballfields. Never knew they had fish like that in there. I haven't been out there in 6 or 7 years. They had just built that area and ball fields around that time.
