Am I the only one experiencing it?
It’s hard to get bit on the lakes around me right now.
Any pointers?
Maybe I need to drive a little bit to a lake with some grass to get off the schnide. On the other hand, I want to work to get better during this time of year also.

I am in a serious slump right now. I have been hitting Eagle Mountain a lot lately and haven't been catching much at all! Hours and hours of time fishing several different depths and can't figure out what the deal is.

Texas rigged or wacky rigged senko. Slow.

Same for me on Joe pool a few small dinks here and there since Memorial Day weekend with an occasional slot fish. An not figure them out. Usually a drop shot works when things get slow. It not this year.

This is the time of year to quit beating the banks and learn your electronics. This is my favorite time of year as fish will school up off shore.

learn your electronics. This is my favorite time of year as fish will school up off shore. Big Cranks on small line and low geared reels, I have 5 crank bait rods on deck with a drop shot and Tokyo rig.

Summertime for me means numbers. Finesse shade over deep water or ends on drop offs produce with a few good ones in between. Oxygen levels position the food chain. Moving water holds more oxygen and positions the food chain from late may till October making it easy to learn where huge schools of bass live.
