Doing a family vacation on Lake Corpus Christi July 9-13. I have a boat. Anyone have experience on that lake?

I fish it quite often. Tough lake for bass but there are some good ones. Catfish and white bass is probably what it's best known for. Lots of gar and carp also. You can chum carp in and keep kids happy for days. Feel free to PM me any specific questions. Good luck and have fun.

In case anyone is planning a trip over the holiday the State Park has reached maximum capacity for camping on Friday and Saturday July 3rd and 4th. Also they have reached maximum capacity for Saturday July 4th for getting into the park and launching a boat. Debra

I am still trying to figure out Lake Corpus Christi. There is some nice bass.
