Fishing a shaky head is a phenomenal way to catch bass. In my latest video I share a few things I’ve learned about it over the years. Some of which I learned from fellow Texan Jim Tutt. Let me know what you think!

What’s your favorite shaky head and why?

I poor 4 different heads. They all have their place, but I seldom use anything other than the do it football head. I have so much confidence in it and it just catches fish. Imdrag it like you mentioned and a slighlty heavier football head adds a little wobble. Red bug mag finesse was my best producer for 3 years in a row, but last year I think the word got out. I had to switch it up, but I have em figured out again. Shakey head summer bass is my favorite pattern.

Love the Owner Ultrahead, it just flat out pins the fish. Can’t remember the last time I lost a fish with this head. Zoom trick work in various colors is all I fish.

I got on that Mag Finesse Worm bite a few years back too. Was killer.

Back in the day I used that head a lot. I got away from the screw lock heads. It was a mental thing, not an equipment issue. It’s a great head.

+2
Wouldn’t be difficult to powdercoat, but sometimes they like shiny and metal is harder than paint (better feedback with bare metal)

Do y'all fish a shaky head on a spin cast or bait cast?

I know folks are having a little bit of a tough time finding things they want and need for their fishing right now. Lot's of suppliers out there that cannot produce product because of what is going on in this country right now. We have been BLESSED sense all of this started and we are still producing and pumping out product. Hate to say it but been the best year business wise that I have ever had sense being in this business. If there is anything you need or that I can help with until things get back to normal. Please feel free to give me a shout. I also offer Military Discounts and Discounts to all of our men and women in Blue !!!

Thanks
