New boat on the way and I'm considering a Solix 15 at console and a Solix 12 at the bow with the Mega 360. Just wanting to know if the 360 works as advertised and you guys using it like it. I'm not a tournament guy and mainly fish east Texas lakes. I really like the one boat network the with the Raptors coming out soon. Thanks for your input.

I only had three trips with mine trying to tune it in before I had some issue and had to remove it to ship back to HumminBird. We'll see...
I can say I was able to target things much better. I hadn't gotten it dialed in to be able to see fish on a sweep, but pinpointing structure was working as advertised!

I just got it but haven't gotten it to work as advertised yet. Lots of interference. Trouble shooting it now...I will report back once I get it sorted out.

Didn't seem to make a difference. I think it is a ground issue.

Didn't seem to make a difference. I think it is a ground issue. Did you run a ground down to the tm? Ive helped a lot of people on the lake with issues, usually if they run a wire from the tm negative down to the tm head it solves it... Mine is a hose clamp around the head with a spot ground bare and the wire connector under it. at the other end your going to the negative at the tm from the battery not in the tm head w the fuse.

I have one and haven't any issues with the product except the screws they sent are made in China and stripped even when I hand tightened them. Humminbird had to resend a new set of screws to me.

I only seen one filter on mine, it’s made onto the power cable.

My buddy just put one on. I was really impressed. Seems to be the best thing for the bow vs DI si and 2d for sure.

Didn't seem to make a difference. I think it is a ground issue. I received a replacement Power Cable trying to figure this out and they HAVE changed the install instructions. They want the Shield Ground connected regardless of which setup you have (switched/direct to battery).

Make sure to turn off your sonar on DI/SI and 2D if you run Lowrance and stop sonar on your Hummingbird at the console before you jump up front to fish. Those can cause interference with your 360.
I have a Gen3 Touch and Helix Gen2 at console. I run DI and 2D on my Lowrance and everything but 2D on my Bird. On the Lowrance touch each screen>top right corner (menu)>very bottom (stop sonor). It will say "stopped" on each screen. On the Bird press power button>stop sonor. That should stop everything on the Bird unit. Stopping everything at the console will more than likely solve your issue.
You should see a nice clear image on the 360 unless you're getting interference from somewhere else. Make sure nothing up front is running at 455kHz either. That's what 360 runs. Also make sure your 360 cable isn't running next to your trolling motor power cable. 24 and 36 volts can cause interference as well.
It took me a while and was a real headache but I really like my setup and love my 360. Will definitely upgrade to the Mega at some point.

Mega 360 is awesome, I had the 360 before and the Mega is quite a bit better. I had interference on my mega 360 also and didn’t have any on my previous 360. As mentioned above I ran a wire from the negative wire that powers my a trolling motor to the trolling motor skeg area, I just put it underneath the hose clamp that holds my transducer on. Cleared all of my interference up.

They want the Shield Ground connected regardless of which setup you have (switched/direct to battery). they have gone back and forth on that shielding wire being grounded. the latest is to not ground it.

The 360 and Solix combo is truly exceptional. When they're working. I have gen1 units with the 455 kHz 360 (non-mega). MY gen1 Solix's are buggy and glitch to the point that they have to be restarted about once a trip for one reason or another. My voltage never drops below 12 after I upgraded all the wiring so it's not just a power bug. The first 360 transducer I got was DOA and replaced quickly by Humminbird when it was shipped back for inspection. The replacement transducer lived for 2 years and just died from the fluid inside leaking I suppose; it just stopped showing an image one day while fishing. I in no way intend this to be a Humminbird bash because they've been extremely friendly, transparent and fair every time I've communicated with them and this is kind of what you should expect out of the first generation of new tech. I'm just sharing my history with that combination. I suspect the gen2 units will be superior to mine for their stronger processors and the mega 360 should be far superior to the 455 kHz 360.
For the record, even with the bugs, I LOVE the 15 Solix on the bow with the 360. You can literally hit your brush pile or stump or vegetation line on every single cast when you get it dialed in and you will be more effective by having it.
I've noticed the auto-disable feature that turns the down and side-image ping off when the 360 is active isn't working as well after the latest update. When I disable down and side-image pinging manually the interference goes away completely. Gonna keep tinkering with that next time out.
