Curious if HDS units will network with an Elite Ti2? My thinking is, with a big unit at the console and live scope up front, I don't need another super fancy unit that I'll essentially only be using for positioning and sonar on the bow. Would save me 2K alone if that set up would work.

If you can't find em wind em.

My son is going through this also (his is a hds carbon) from the information we have gathered the Carbon uses a ethernet cable to share data with and the elite ti2 doesnt have one so he has it connected with a nema 2000 cable its supposed to just share waypoint but he's not finished with the set up yet.

The Elite Ti2 doesn't have Ethernet capability. Only way to connect them is nema 2000. Same goes for the Bluetooth in the Ti2. It will only communicate with another Ti2.
