I have probably 15 St. Croix's ranging from a Mojo Bass cranking rod with mostly Tourney Legends(blue) and even some Tourney Legend Extremes(green). From spinning to baitcasters but mostly baitcasters. I have been really impressed with the rods and its nice to have enough of them to actually "match" lures with appropriate types/actions. Their labeling of the rod seems to "fit" quite well. For ex their 7' Medium crankbait rod labeled "small cranker" handles squarebills and bandit 200s extremely well and will even throw the 2.5 on braid nicely. I have 2 of them on the deck at all times as I like to throw cranks!

As to "complaint/issues" I would say I have with them-
1. on the upper guides (last 5 or so) they use a single foot guide that can bend out and break loose from the epoxy rather easily. Now granted I don't like sticking my rod tip down to free the baits (especially on a $260 rod!) but I've had 2 different guides come off doing that.
2. on the reel seat the top part doesn't have a lot of epoxy holding it down. After taking the reel off and on a few times and tightening it rather snug you'll start to see some cracking of the epoxy. I had a rod repair guy here locally replace a reel seat for me and he said all they needed was to add about 2xs what they did and it would have been fine.

Otherwise I've been extremely happy with the rods. They feel good(I do prefer the cork feel on the Legend Tourneys over the Extremes) and I like knowing that I have my rods matched to their respective baits.

side note- if you do have to send a rod in for repair they are really quick to take care of things. I had a rod break about a foot down and sent it back and they replaced it with no issues. I do like the option when sending back to pay a little extra and upgrade to the next higher model!
