http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=1066543he explained in a nice way that he didn't want a bunch of spectator boats following him then raping his fishing spots after he left during last weeks FLW tourney on Chickamauga...don't blame him at all,no telling how many times spectator boats have hurt pros chances of winning either by crowding around them or fishing their spots after they left to let it rest or go to weigh in....

Makes a lot of sense. Plus I happen to think wrapped boats are god-awful ugly. But that’s just me.

Whats his sponsor think,...? I assume you didn’t watch it. He stated that he contacted them and asked if they were ok with it. They approved it so they ripped it off the night between practice day 2 and 3. He used his aluminum boat to practice the first 2 days.

I sure don't blame him. He should also wear another shirt over his jersey where they couldn't see it too. I'll bet he still got followed.

Sneaky. They are on to him now. That is the kind of thing that probably works once, at least for the top tier anglers, and then everyone figures it out. It definitely worked out for him this time around.

truly don't see the point in the wrap besides protecting the boat... I have never looked at a wrap boat or truck and said hmmmm I'm going to try one of those products they use.
