I run an 04' zx225 with an 04' vmax 225.. The boat came with a massive 14" manual jackplate.. The prop that is currently on the boat is TXP by TURBO, part # EX14725RPV. I assume it's a 14.75/ 25 pitch prop.. Everything that I've read about this prop says it's for light go fast boats. the highest speed I've seen was by myself @ 62mph.. Now, the prop is a little dinged up , with a small gouge on one of the ears and definite rough edges on the others.. I'm wanting to have this prop repaired. I need to get a spare/primary prop for this boat. What can I do to get a little more speed? Are there better options out there than the TXP?

that boat should have a 12" jack plate on it. might double check the measurement.
the 25p Turbo txp is a great prop for your boat.

you most likely are running the engine too low. the prop shaft height needs to be set at 3.25" below pad.

Josh at Steve's Custom Props can repair that prop for you.
