We are taking a weekend on lake Granbury mid July, Ive never fished it and was wondering if anyone has any advice. We rented a house Mid lake and will be fishing from a pontoon Boat. Anything helps!

The 377 bridge would be a good place to start. The marina by the bridge is also good. The other bridges past the square are good and you can fish the big trees in the main body of water by and across from the square. If you are there on the 4th, plan to be able to walk from boat to boat. It can take hours to remove your boat from the lake after the fireworks. But the fireworks are some of the best in the state.

Just had fish kill again from Golden Algae a couple of weeks ago. Might check current conditions.
