I caught a few cats in shallow water the other day on Ray Roberts. There was shade and riprap to attract them. I caught six in deeper water on Lewisville Friday morning.
I had cut bait, shrimp, chicken breast and worms. The lake was up.I am not sure how deep I was fishing. But I was getting hung up on what assume was rocks. The Grapevine police paid ne a visit. He was was cool though. He let me pull my truck down to the boat trailer only parking lot. 2 party boats came by blasting the N word rap music. I could here 2 Hispanics talking Spanish. The female was constantly yacking . Then they both got quite except for an occasional moan and Yelp. I think he shut her up with some relations.
I have never fished Grapevine. It was too windy to take my Tracker out. It was a nice night sit by the water. Cars would show up and park near me for a short time and leave. I am going to have to get a gun and start packing heat
Yeah, Bentman , times are crazy and you must practice safe fishing. The wind prohibits me from going out in my small boat sometimes. I'd like to fish with you sometime if you'd like to try my passive fishing gear. I have only been into catfishing for about a year now after designing my noodle sticks. I have never been skunked when fishing with them and even caught a limit of blues a couple weeks ago. I like to use garlic shrimp, but caught six on chicken breast the other day.
I've only fished Katie Woods once. Spent most of the day just getting hung up. Never caught any cats, only one gar. Anyone have much luck there at Katie Woods?

Nope. I have 1 13# fish from there. A ton of turtles and broke. Lines. The drop off is so steep that you’ll get hung up trying to reel in and your line just rubs the rocks.

You most definitely need a gun at Katies Woods! Those old people that come out there and watch the boats and the young people that make out in their cars are dangerous! I have fished there for 25 years and never once had a problem with a single person! Never!
ohhhh no that's terrible, you had to listen to someone talk Spanish in Texas wow
