Taking the family up there the week of July 13-17. Has anyone been lately and how are the restaurants handling the current situation we're in?

Happykamper - Roger any input would be greatly appreciated.

We're trying to determine how much food we need to take with us. We've heard Broken Bow food stores are limited with supplies due to the crowds.

Thanks, Mike

Sage advice!

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

We were there a couple of weeks ago. The wait times at restaurants was ridiculous.

I love that place. We tried to find an Air BnB about 6 weeks ago for the 4th. Everything was booked. And I may add to visit Beavers Bend Brewery and get you some Howling Jalapeño cold beer!!!

We rented a 3 BR cabin for four days and just got back last week. We took most of our food in coolers and bags and cooked at the cabin. Our plan was to eat at Shuck Me one evening but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday so we missed out.

All the restaurants we passed in Broken Bow and Hochatown were packed. We did get some great take out from Tacohoma, a small Mexican food take out only place. We had to wait about 30 minutes after placing the order but there were lots of folks there getting food.

Sounds like a petri dish for covid. My old friend in Idabel believes Texans are bringing it in through Hochatown.

There a LOT of gorgeous cabins up there. So nice, they'll make you want to never come back home!

We made a trip to Brokenbow a few years back. I wouldn't want to live there but its a neat place to visit. Lots of nice cabins and fun lake to fish.

I understand lot more people vist now days, very busy.

Thanks, Billy

Long drive to experience traffic and crowded restaurants. Beautiful area, nice cabins, just too many people for me.
