What are everyone's opinions on the Hydrowave? I see there is a Mr. Crappie expansion pack available for it. Gimmick or useful tool?

I'm probably the only one but I'm sold on it. I put it on "passive Shad continuous" and the longer I sit on a brushpile the bigger the crappie get. Turn the volume up to about 70% and let it work.
I think it also masks the sound of your trolling motor when your hovering near a brush pile.
I think most didn't give it enough trips to evaluate it before they pulled the plug.
