My college buddy lived in Amite County, MS. His family and Jerry's had been close friends for several generations. He swears THAT is exactly how Jerry is....not so much of an act than reality.

My summer between freshman and sophomore I went to the state ag convention in San Antonio we seen him in person , he was funny.

Thanks Chet! I still have a Jerry Clower cassette tape of his. My dad and I saw him in person when I was a about 12 or 13.
