Anyone have the Hobie Bimini top? Just wondering if it’s worth the expense.

I've watched a couple of videos on it. Looks like it provides shade but I don't like the single pole in front. I just use this and works great. https://www.amazon.com/Sport-Brella...&hvtargid=pla-356488992899&psc=1

You get out of it what you put into it!

This makes more sense to me. I don't use a bimini, but if I did I would use something like this because it's adjustable. The Hobie bimini cannot be adjusted and will not be very effective as the sun moves across the sky. As an added bonus it can be more easily removed on the water and has fewer anchor points to get in the way.

Yeah these are nice but useless on windy days, I bought 2 and as long as it's calm they are great but a little wind collapses them or the joints won't stay locked.

It’s windy 335 days of the year in this part of Texas

Those 30 non windy days are from July 25th to August 25th.
