Been fishing Martin. Seems like throwing spinner baits on edges of hydrilla in about 8 ft of water is the only thing working. Bites are few and far in between. Went to murvaul yesterday and was catching them on shaky heads under docks. I don’t know murvaul like I do Martin does anyone know what else or where to catch them on murvaul?

Cast it, reel it, jerk it.

I've only been there(Murvaul) once but I fished a lot of the reeds along the shoreline near the dam and caught a few. I did see a lot of brushpiles while idling around out deeper(12-15') so those could be good now that it's summer time. Looking at the map there are way more docks there than I expected so if you got on a pattern doing that I would prob stick with it.

Try fishing the bridge on Murvaul. It holds a lot of bait fish and there have been some really nice bass caught there. Also, this time of year try deeper holes you might find in front of the dam. As you mentioned, the boat houses always hold fish too.

To whom much is given, much is required.

I grew up on Martin Creek and we started fishing it before it was open to boats.

It has been many years since I fished it though but have a couple buddies that do regularly but haven't seen them post lately. cheers
