Here's a thought... if you don't like what the government is trying to enforce upon you, get all your nonwearing masks homies together and protest! Or you can just continue whining and do nothing to help get us going strong again. Yes, just get out in the streets, side by side, no masks and make stand for your rights!!!

Texans are really stubborn and determined to be independent. We should have expected Texas to be a hot spot. I expect the same folks were against seat belts, speed limits, helmets and probable life jacks when they first came out. Correct. I am in favor or of making decisions for myself. I am against government making decisions for me. You may prefer the government to decide what is best for you. I do respect that Scientist know more about a virus than I do.

They really do need special hrs for non mask shoppers, so we will know when to go to Lowe or Walmart.

So I just learned that my boss and his entire family including his 9 month old grandson have been exposed to Covid. One of his son's coworkers went to a casino and was exposed, went to work , and later came down ill. So now he and his entire family are quarantined until after the 4th. Another coworker in Houston, her husband was exposed at work. She's pregnant. It's unavoidable at this point. Herd immunity is our only hope and I pray to the good Lord above that none of these people that I know are ill enough to require hospitalization. On top of this, my sister is a nurse in Minneapolis and just recovered from having Covid.
If I have to wear a mask in public, I'll do it. I hate the mandates and the politics surrounding this virus; but when it starts hitting this close to home, what's it going to hurt?
