Was gonna replace the handles on my Ocean Kayak 3 of the Hex Heads are just spinning  any one have this problem before?? Never had this happen but possibly you could re heat the nuts to melt them back in?

Never had this happen but possibly you could re heat the nuts to melt them back in? Christian, I actually thought about doing that. Put the Heat Gun on EM and see if they stick or just pull them out Then plastic weld a couple new ones in

I had a similar situation a couple of years ago. I removed the nut and filled the perimeter of the hole with fresh plastic (I used a black zip-tie and soldering iron) and let it cool down. I then heated the nut with a torch and gently pressed it back in. I then cut away the plastic that oozed out and blended everything together with a heat gun. It worked great.
Edit: The above repair was for a convenience gear strap under the seat. It was not for a structural nut. So, Im not sure if the above repair will hold under the pressure of a handle. Saying this, I cannot think of another way without drilling all the way through and using a washer.
