I went out with a friend on two of my baited holes and we quickly caught 25 Channel cats to put in the fryer. The fish are going back to their regular spots on the lake and they do bite Stubbys cheese bait. The baited holes were in 20-22 feet deep. I think the fish caught had just got done with their spawn. I only had one fish that had eggs in it. The wind was blowing out of the south at about 5-10 mph would be my guesstimate.

Stubby everything you taught me is true. I need to share my favorite true Stubby Story. last Spring I went out and could not catch fish on my baited holes. I called Stubby up to shine and he told me he was with a customer and could not talk but his boat was sitting in 1.5 foot deep. That was all I needed to know. I then promptly moved my boat shallow and started catching fish. Now that is a friend that knows exactly what you need to know and shared it quickly. Of course using the best bait Stubbys cheese was a key also.
