What is the cheapest unit that I can use to network to my solix 10 gen 1? I only need the unit to view waypoints on the bow that I mark on Side Imaging at the console. I know the Solixs dont play well with helixs, and I dont know about the older 800s and 900s.

SOLIX and Helix will share waypoints and that is all.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3, Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

It has been awhile since I networked a number series unit. BUT the 800 series is what the Helix 9 is now, and the 900 series is what the Helix 10 is now. Just the naming system changed from number to names--the menus are the same. The software version difference may keep them from sharing with the SOLIX. The cheapest Helix that will network is a Helix 7 CHIRP GPS G2N discontinued or current Helix 7 CHIRP GPS G3N. Those are 2D sonar-only models.
