Does anyone really think this would pass? Very good point! Side Note: What ever happened to the good old days when you broke the law you were either arrested or given a ticket! Why can't we just get back to the basics of life! because back then people didn't resist arrest without getting hit upside of the head so they just went to jail. Today the cops are so regulated that thugs believe they can resist and get away with it. We will never get back to old days because no one respects cops any more. The people believe they don't have to listen to cops because the cops are against them breaking the law. People believe they have the right to break the law without consequences. You have people on here believe people have the right to break the law in the name of protest. I guess as soon as you give them the right, under certain conditions, to break the law, then they believe they can make their own rules.

I think I would be on board for this. Have you seen the videos of the guy in a semitruck being pulled out and beaten. Had he just stayed on the gas he might have been ok, other than the nightmares of smashing through people.

It would more be used for the driving slow and responsible thru a group of protesters where one steps out in front of you or is close enough that they get their foot ran over. Speed into the group, you are going to jail, even with such a law passed and in place.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Does anyone really think this would pass? NO There is a better chance of Gourd being a conservative and reasonable then this bill passing. best that would happen most likely is criminal liability and probably civil as well would be removed for drivers, sorta like the castle law maybe. and for the record, only if I had to because of imminent danger. bad enough dodgin dam deer and pigs. If you have a Toyota you could blame the aftermarket floor mats....

All humans set fire to buildings and cars, and loot and steal and punch 92 year old women in the head, and stop you from driving on roads at will, and smash your windows and tip over a car or two. Why the ire against these "protesters"?

Exactly. It'll never make it past that stage, either.

It is one thing to block traffic. It is entirely different to block traffic so you can beat the pizz out of someones vehicle or pull them out so you can beat them too. If the latter were the case, I would run down anybody I needed to to keep the family safe. It is BS as it is to allow protesters to block traffic. This should never be allowed to happen. Protesters should not have any right to prevent someone else from their rights to do whatever they were doing. If they want to hassle you the whole time, then that is a protest. If they prevent you from driving, crossing the street, going in a business or store...etc then they are taking you hostage. No other way to put it. At that point they have escalated the situation and whatever happens should be fair game.

To me it’s more like Darwin Award for getting in the road- It’s for sure, sad someone would be that stupid as to get into the road-
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

That's a constant around here of late. Along with a hate of medical professionals and their opinions, math, science, logic and intelligence.
