Just now seeing this. Don’t think many of the guys that fish for hybrids on Palestine get on TFF much if at all any more. Think most of the views on this thread are just people looking to see some reports and maybe pictures.

48 hybrids is an outstanding day! Congrats! Palestine has definitely been fishing great this year.

Where and how did you catch them?

Still haven't caught a single hybrid on palestine.
Caught a bunch of crappie, white bass, and catfish a couple weeks ago.
Need to target hybrids soon.

If you can catch shad with a cast net , you can catch hybrids on Lake Palestine.

Set up on almost any point or hump on the main lake , put down 4-6 rods with live shad , couple of feet off the bottom ,
if you are not hooked up in 10 minutes , move.

good luck

Mo is 100% correct. If you are patient and persistent and keep checking points and humps you will eventually find a good school and wear them out on artificials. If you are neither of those bust out the cast net and load up on 6” gizzards and you will kill them. It has been an epic year on Palestine if you aren’t opposed to using live bait. We have missed the last three years of stockings so when you get in to them you are gonna get your line stretched.

Nice!

All true, any lower lake point s of 155 at 13-18' break depending on thermocline. Solid pattern from July through Aug/Sep with first real cold front. Must move around alot. Never had one spot produce more that a week, but they don't go far unless we get a lot of summer rain. My only problem is I've only been twice this summer.

Good Luck and God Bless!

Good Fishing!
