RIP, Benji. Think of your dog as the lucky one. No doubt he will be sorely missed, but his life was a treasure that he had you and your family as caregiver. Many a dog doesn't get that opportunity. It still hurts when I lost my dog in Aug 2018, but not as bad. It takes some time. Benji lived a very happy life.
