Buddy and I are looking to head up to Detroit in mid-August to do some smallmouth fishing on St Clair or surrounding lakes. Anyone have recommendation on guides up there? Though about taking my boat but not crazy about hauling it 16 hours.

It's a great fishery and August is a great time to go. Big schools deep. Art Ferguson is a good one.

Kevin Long, with Long-cast guide service is awesome! We are fishing with him July 23,24,25. Our 4th consecutive summer trip with Kevin.
