We Spent last Saturday morning on Canyon lake hoping to catch some crappie and cats. Fishing was kind of tough, but we did get some to cook up. I hope you all enjoy!

I fished Canyon once....... once. Pretty clear water, and tough fishing. There are better lakes closer so I don't think I'll make a trip there anytime soon.

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

It is a tough lake to fish for those folks who don't fish it on a regular basis, and that means not just not catching much, but actually fishing hard and getting skunked.
For those who fish it often and with the knowledge that it's not going to be easy, you can do pretty well.
Let's just say you better have a plan A, B, C, D, E, and F.
By the time you get to G, just lick your wounds and go home!

Just one more cast!
