Yes, it is a personal best. I have fished Conroe since 1975. I caught this one on a Rapala Shad Rap, Shad color SR8, 8' Castaway saltwater rod, medium-light action, ten-pound big game. I use that rod because it is the only thing I can get any casting distance and even then I need the wind to my back.
Very lucky to land the fish, one hook on the rear treble was stuck in the corner of the lip.
