Do you think a 9ft gate is wide enough to get it in and out of. Looking to put a gate in before I buy the boat in a few months. Thank you!

OK, OK, OK... I guess I was wrong about PhotoBucket being out of business.

Tracker makes some big boats and some small boats. One thing I’ve noticed, all have the specs on them at BPS’s website.

The biggest bass boat is 7’6” package width. That’s how wide fender to fender.

Tracker makes some big busts. Now that’s what I’m needing to measure, but nine foot? Those are giant.

Max trailer width without a permit is 102". That pretty much covers any sized boat trailer in case you upgrade in the future. If you go 9' that will only give you 3" clearance on each side.

If he gets the 16 or 17, he's fine. 18-19 is doable, but he'll have to be accurate in backing it in. Heck, if he has a flat driveway, he can push it around!

how good are you at backing to that 9foot width ? Even if your boat is only 7'6" wide , that will only give you 9inches on each side before you take out a post and screw up your boat . If you had a good long run to go straight into that space --- still not much room for error . Go wider if you can

Either the pro 175 or 190 I just looked at the 195 and it is 8 and some change. I didn’t know package length meant the trailer too. Thanks for all the input!!!

My 195tx has a 98” beam. The boat is wider than the trailer. When backing in tight places, watch the back of the boat, not the fenders. Ask me how I know.

Take it from a rancher that has 40 gates on his property. Go wider than you think you will ever need. At lease 10' and then you will wish you had went 12' in your case.
