I have only been tying flies for less than a month and have only tied about 30 flies so far, but I'm getting better at it I think.

The crawdad is weighted to the end of the tail and has floating foam under the pincher arms and foam also makes up the eye stems. That way when it stops moving it will sink to the bottom tail first and land in a fighting position similar to a real craw. When it moves, it takes off tail first since the eyelet is just in front of and above the tail fin and the tail fin will bend under kind of like a real craw that’s escaping during the retrieve. Which should be killer with on and off jerking retrieves.

The green thing was supposed to be a floating mantis but my mind wandered and I came up with this.…. I’d eat it if I was a bass, wouldn't you? LOL!!!!

I have also added rattles inside both to add a little fish tempting sound to the flies.
