Beautiful fish, beautiful doggo, nice day to be out there. Nice work. I think the jig is Texas Toast maybe? Looks like some I order from Limits Tackle and Crazy Angler in Texas Toast.

Nice size Crappie!
Crazy Angler Slab Bandit makes a color called Firehouse Shad. There are 3 sizes I always but the middle size.
If you can find it, try a package on a separate rod and switched back & forth to see which one the fish prefer.
Not much difference in color but enough to make a difference in your catch rate.
The first 5 days after the Weekend are the Hardest.

You're one of the few that I've seen utilize that down view...... Thanks SK, I watch most your videos and learned a lot. I'm set up in my boat a lot like you. Have you got live scope yet? You would probably set it up like me, put on front of boat, and drop jig off front with downview. I had my live scope originally set up for forward view, on the left side of my boat like most... But my lesson with legendary crappy guide Ernest Paty showed me the benefits of downview.
