Went on a 3 day road trip this week with Doc to try out a new lake. I just call it lake notfayette smile...We caught a ton of big bluegill on both Gulp Alives & BOC. Here are a few pics from out adventure... We kept around 7 fish each day that had swallowed the hook & would have died anyway. Great trip...[Linked Image]

Can't call you the "Master of Fayette" on this post! So I will simply call you the "Master of Lake Not Fayette"! You guys caught some TANKS! Good job.

Side Note: What was the ratio caught between the Gulp Alive Minnows and the BOC. Worms?

Gorgeous fish, looks like you guys can catch big bluegill anywhere. Just remember, there are no bluegill in the Austin area. Definitely not in Lady Bird Lake. No need to come up here and try them out.

Steve we did not fish for blue gills or crappie. Bass was the target. Fished Tuesday evening and I think we caught 5 on Toledo Bend. It was really hot that evening. We fished frogs most of Wednesday and did a little better but the fish were in a slapping mode so we had a lot of blowups but few hook sets. Yesterday we went to Rayburn and did really well using topwater in the buckbrush. I was hoping we would give the crappie a try but that did not happen.

Gitter...I would say 60% on Gulp Alives & 40% on worms. I only used the Gulps & Doc was switching back & forth.
