Yes. There are some big patches of them in several places.

There are a lot of pads in Oil Well Bay on the north end of the lake near Coffee Creek Marina

My biggest fish on a frog came in the pads on Fork in the middle of the day late summer in 2' of water. It was over 10lbs. Pads hold fish on Fork.

ive had some on in the pads with braid that i wish i would have seen. never could turn em, they just went off like a nuke sub and snapped 65# braid like nothing.

The key to figuring out those pads out there on Fork is to take time in winter when they are gone and learn where the ditches and such are. Especially the swings. Go back when the pads are in bloom and work those key spots for better results. They will pay off.

Ive caught some nasty bowfin in the pads that i thought were big ole bass, not saying thats what you had but i know those things can tear through most line. Always fun to watch your line jump tho!
