Headed to stillhouse for the first time this weekend, and was wanting to know where and how to pay?. Its not a state park, so I can't reserve online. Went to the park website, and it doesn't give me ramp fees. Just confused as to how much the ramp is, and how you pay. Also how's the lake fishing?

That is a CoE park. Normally you pay at the gate and it is $5. If you get there before the gate attendants start their day, you can pay on your way out. You can also get an annual pass at the gate for I believe $30, which is good for all CoE parks in Texas. However, right now they aren't charging anything (as of last weekend) I guess to encourage folks to enjoy the outdoors during this covid [censored]. I suggest getting there early as that parking lot can get cramped pretty quick. The overflow parking is a pretty good uphill walk. walking

Noticed you may be coming from CS. You might consider putting in at Stillhouse Marina. Take the G Wilson Road exit, then take the next left under the highway. Stay straight at the yellow flasher, FM 2410, and it will lead you straight into the park. If you take the right at the flasher, that will take you to Dana Peak.

The water on the main lake by the dam is gin clear. South side of mid lake is stumpy. Should be marked on your graph but just keep that in mind when you're running. Anything past the bridge and you'll be hurting something.
