re-learning how to catch crappie. Can some of you post pictures of SI and DI structure showing crappie. Don't care what lake just need to see what I am looking for. Tired of casting for bass all day long. I have a Hummingbird 899 and just now learning how to use it as it should be used.

Crappie will usually be grouped tighter than bass.

Also, they will usually be close to the same depth where as Bass will occupy the entire vertical water column.

Not always true (with fishing nothing is) but that is my experience.

Look up SK's Crappie Adventures on youtube, he also uses Humminbird and does a great job explaining how to find and identify Crappie on fishfinders. Oh, and he'll also teach you how to catch'em too.
