Great catch! Keep up the good work. Those crappie are going to run and hide soon when they see yellow coming. I think that`s what happened on lake Bardwell !  He has terrorized the Crappie community on that lake to where many spawns,Moons& generations will have come to pass before they no longer fear the legend of the YELLOW boat.

We are trying to learn Aquilla. When you say brush piles where would we find these on the lake? There are numerous piles all over the lake. You’ll need to use your electronics to find them. Around main lake humps, drop offs at main lake points to name a couple of areas. I’ve found them anywhere from 7-25’ of water, and every depth in between. I’d tell you to get the TPWD fish habitat coordinates for Aquilla but I did and didn’t find anything at those spots to fish!

I went to every one of those locations on the TPWD site, uploaded all those coords in the main finder, and NOTHING! I literally thought I was going insane. Since then, I have been marking my own. Thank you for letting me know I'm not crazy!

I have seen the TPWD structure around the bridge and out from the ramp as well as the mouth of one cove. They are there
