Would you like a fast tip rod, or a moderate fast tip rod for swimming a jig? Why? Thank you for your input!

MH with fast tip is my preference by far. Same rod I use for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and bladed jigs. I like to have the backbone to drive those single hooks home since I almost always fish the baits I listed around cover.

I got the Mike McClelland swim jig rod, and that thing is sweat. Pretty sure itโ€™s a F, my only complaint of the rod is it maxes out at 3/8oz.

I've been throwing a 1/2oz swim jig with a 6'10 Falcon Finesse JIg rod.
